My name is Farooq Azam. I completed Hifz-ul-Quran at Madrasah Anwar-ul-Uloom, Karachi, in 1997, and then pursued Dora-e-Hadith at Madrasah Sayyiduna Usman Ghani in 2007.
From 2004 to 2007, I served as Naib Imam and Mu’adhin at Jamia Al-Rasheed, where I not only strengthened my own worship and piety but also participated in managing the mosque and guiding the congregation.
In 2008, I had the privilege of receiving specialized Tajweed and Qira’at training under Qari Ehsanullah Farooqi, which further refined my recitation and teaching skills. Afterwards, I began teaching at Jamia Farooqia, Malir branch, Karachi, where I train students in correct Quranic recitation, Tajweed, and Islamic knowledge.
My goal is not only to teach the Quran but also to instill a deep love for it in hearts and help students implement its teachings in their daily lives. I aim for every student to not only memorize the Quran but also live by its principles.
